What Do You Miss the Most About Elementary School?

“Nap time! We all took it for granted when we were younger. There is nothing better than a power nap before lunch and after recess! As an adult it’s almost impossible to power nap with work, kids, house chores and so on. I miss that part of the day when we could nap.”

“Recess. Nothing is better than having time to have fun and be with your friends. It was the same time every day and something to look forward to.
“As an adult its so hard to schedule a “recess” where you can spend time with your friends and have fun. It’s so important to have this time to de-stress but we just seem to forget it.”

“I miss being so carefree. All I had to worry about was waking up on time to get to school. I also miss coming home after school and having a snack with my mom.”

“The things I miss the most about elementary school are P.E. and Recess — being active throughout the day, something I don’t get to do a lot of these days.”

“The thing that I miss the most about being in elementary school is just being young and carefree. I really miss having playtime and learning new things in school.”

“What I miss the most is the carefree attitude that being a kid comes with, and the ability to play all day with the use of your imagination in elementary school. I miss the innocence you experience at that age, and when going to school still felt exciting.”
